John McDonald is a mental health clinician who works to build a relationship to support you with your goals. He is passionate about working with people to treat anxiety and depression, and has experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. He has worked in a residential facility and with children and families in their homes to help bring about behavioral and emotional growth. He continued his training to obtain an MSW degree from the University of Iowa in 2014. Since then, he has worked as a mental health clinician with children, adolescents, and adults. He utilizes a strengths-based approach, drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, family therapy, and EMDR.
