Delphine Weiss works with clients to find new ways to look at challenges in life. Many of us live with strain that comes from difficult relationships, loss, trauma, adjustment, chronic pain, anxiety, and low motivation, to name a few. Delphine brings a non-judgmental approach to her work with clients, considering their environmental factors, and accepting where they currently are in life while focusing on their strengths. She works with adults who want to learn new ways to grow, use a different perspective to look at situations, and move toward their personal goals.
Delphine has experience using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, in addition to having been trained in Stephen Ministry and Motivational Interviewing. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, a Master of Science degree in Gerontology from Mankato State University, and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa. Delphine is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Iowa. She is available to provide faith-based counseling in addition to talk therapy.
